A photo can sometimes say 1000 words. Some of this years World Press Photo’s really struck a cord with me, I love looking at photos and imagining the story behind them… take a look at this photo for example:
It shows Maria, a drug-addicted sex worker, resting between clients in a room she rents in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.
Simply ‘beautiful’, in so many ways.
Anyway… que a ‘working’ lunch break when I stumbled across these amazing images. Again, I love portraits with loads of detail, so these were right up my street. These were produced by a man called Paul Cadden, only Paul’s not a photographer, he’s an artist! He creates ‘hyperrealist’ images – images designed to fool the viewer into thinking they are photos.
Each of the images below are pencil drawings! View more of Paul’s work on his website – http://www.paulcadden.com
